What is a lace front wig?

A lace front wig is a human hair wig made with a lace base. When applied with adhesive or tape, the unit appears to be growing directly from the scalp. Full lace caps are so versatile that it can be worn in a high ponytail or any updo hairstyle. The hair can be dyed, curled and flat ironed. It never looks like a wig.

 

What is the difference between swiss lace and french lace?

French lace is recommended if you are new to lace front wigs. Swiss lace is a fragile finer lace that is less detectable than French lace; witch is a slightly thicker lace. 

 

Do you offer tinted Lace?

We offer tinted lace but that can be ordered when ordering the custom unit, all our stock wigs are transparent. 

 

What is the difference between Full Lace units and lace front units?

Full lace units are made entirely of lace and are the size of the full head. These units can be worn in a high ponytail. Lace frontal units have a lace front that covers just abit less than half of the head.

 

How long do Lace wigs last for (LIFE SPAN)?

With good care a unit can last for several years. 

 

Does the human hair tangle?

All human hair tangles just like our normal hair but as long as you take good care of it like we do our normal hair. Human hair is a lot better than synthetic or fake human hair, in texture, life span, durability.

With good care and the correct hair care products you can extend the life of the hair and decrease tangling. Our human hair can be dyed, bleached, tongued, straighten, and will go back to the normal texture it was after you have washed it. 

DONOT apply Oily products or greasy products , if you do it has to be washed out  after a few days as this can weight the hair down and cause it to matte and shed as oil will  also make the knots unravel too.  Always use knot sealer before fitting your wig on or after washing it. 

Good products to use is conditioners like silicon mix, or glizz.

What is the difference between Hair and beauty centre units and other units?

Our units are hand made. Every unit is made with the finest Remy human hair. While you wear our unit you will reduce your bad hair days, you will have the freedom to wear your hair for long periods of time with out getting much tangles.

The lace wigs are good to give your real hair a break from over processing. you will be able to change your look at a moments notice and try new colours and lengths. It covers all medical and hair loss from alopecia with a natural look. Even though you spend more money on one time purchase you end up saving more if u come the prices of buying extensions every month as out wigs and extension last a lot longer. 

 

What is the difference between between single knots and double knots?

Single knots usually appear around the perimeter of the unit. They help the hairline look realistic. Doubles are a little thicker but can still give the appearance of a realistic hair line.

Can I make an entire unit out of single knots?

Heavy density can't be made with single knots alone. We would not recommend getting an entire unit with single knots since this can reduce the life span of the unit.

 

What is a knot?

A knot simply is what holds the hair to the lace. single usually are found around the perimeter or front of a unit and double are found in the middle and back of unit.

 

What is a custom Lace Wig?

It is wig custom made to your needs, you choose the head size, colour, length, texture etc. Have you seen a unit that you would like to purchase and one or two of the specs didn't match your own? With quick custom you can quickly order the exact wig, custom to your measurements. These take about 3 weeks to order and for rush order in 2week an extra charge of £40 is applicable.

 

What shipping options do you offer

For UK residents we do next day Delivery for stock wigs and custom wigs after the wig is ready we will ship it by first class recorded delivery.

For international orders we use express shipping which is normally 4 - 5 working days you will have to contact us and we will let you know how much it is.

Can I get express order with custom wigs?

Yes you can. Please contact us before or immediately after purchasing your item.

How it works: when your order is placed, the order is in queue waiting to start production. By selecting express order, your item would jump the queue and workers would spend extre hours making it. The result is a saving of 1 week

 

Are all hair items real human hair

Yes, all items are made from 100% real human hair. They are also inspected before shipping

 

How is the lace wig attached to the head?

The lace wigs are attached to the head using adhesive tapes, glue or both adhesive tapes and glue.

Indian, Malaysian, Chinese and Brazilian Hair types

Malaysian human hair

Typical malaysian human hair is relatively thin and is softer than indian and chinese hair and In general this hair type is of a very high quality and rare to find so costs relatively more. This hair is available in all hair types: straight, wavy and curly.

Chinese hair

Chinese hair is "considerably thicker" than indian hair; it is dark black and, by contrast with indian hair, has a round cross-section. This hair is good for hair styles with fringe or bangs as they stay when windy and look more fuller than other hair types.This hair is only available in straight hair which is the natural unprocessed texture, but can sometimes can be processed to get them to be curly or wavy.

Indian hair

Indian Hair is softer than chinese hair but not as soft as malaysian hair. Most human hair wigs are made with indian hair as this is more readily available than other hair types, which is why it is cheaper than other hair textures. This hair ia available is all hair types: striaght, wavy and curly.

Brailian hair:

Brailian hair is very soft to touch and thin but not as thin as malaysian hair. This hair is also rare to find and cost relatively more, this hair is mostly available in curly texture.

 

How is the hair length determined?

The length of the hair is measured from the top of the head to the end of the hair for each hair, so that is why the lace wigs look kind of layered soemtimes, if you want the whole head to be the same length then their is an option for this when ordering. For the hair to be the same length all through normally an extra 2 inches is added at the hair in front to midlle.

 

What is the celebrity undetectable hairline constructed of? Is it a thin skin?

The celebrity undetectable hair line is constructed of thin skin, and it is very light thin skin and not thick so it is fine for oily skin, Davlyn waterproof glue works fine with this as it is good for oily skin or swimming and hot weather.

 

What is the difference between stretch lace and elastic lace?

Stretch lace has a browny centre with stretch material in the middle, while elastic lace is just lace all through but stretchy lace.

 

When the baby hair option is selected, is the baby hair all around the perimeter of the wig?

Baby hair is always all around teh cricumference , unless the customer resquests to have this at certain paces.

I would like to know more about the Malaysian hair

Question:

I would like to know more about the Malaysian hair, so comparing the straight Indian and Malaysian hair -

i) which one is more durable?
ii) which one is less "flyaway" and one more body to it?
iii) which one can be styled (i.e curled, waved & flat ironed) better?
iv) which one looks most like "light Yaki"
v) which one is more shiny

Reply:

Malysian hair is more durable and better quality than indian hair, but it is very silky so can be a bit fly away, if you do not want fly away hair i will recommend chinese hair which is also better quality than indian hair and comes naturally in light yaki texture as chinese hair is thicker than indian or malaysian hair.

All the hair types can be styled, flat ironed tongued etc. Indian hair tends to be a bit more shiny than the other hair but still not that shiny as it is remy hair

Is the parting free and can I wear the hair in an up do?

Yes, Parting is free.

Our wigs can be parted any where and we recommend the cap with stretch in the middle if you want to be able to put the wig up in a pony tail.

Do you have hair that is one colour at the roots and another elsewhere

We can duplicate the colours you want as we do Tcolors,where the down part is a different colour and th upper part is another colour,

We also do mixed colours as well. All included in the price.

How to Put On a Lace Wig

Wig specification

This is a thin skin full lace wig tight curl indian remy hair
Wig is a colour 1 ( jet black)
The thin skin colour and lace colour are Black
Wig length is 16 inches
Density Light to meduim infront and meduim every where else 

 

	Models hair has been cornrowed to make it as flat as possible.  Ultra hold glue has been applied around the hair line and left to dry for about 1 to 2 minutes
	Most customers are worried that the glue may break their hair line, i have been using lace wigs for over a year and my hair has grown over 8 inches longer and my hair line is still intact, I use JORGEN Amber Super Solvent Lace Wigs remover everytime I want to take the wig off, and let the remover soak for about 20 minutes on my hair line, then i remove the wig and wipe off the glue. With thin skin lace wig, you can apply as much glue as it doesnt show through, but if you are using a french or swiss lace wig, it is best not to apply too much glue as this may show through the lace and have a whitish look at the hair line.

	Press it down with your fingers or if you are not in a rush, you can tie a scare after you have finised for about 10 minutes to hold the wig in place until it has dried completely or you can use a hair dryer
